In the studio I have been working on paintings that I hope will be ready to show at my Summer Exhibition.

This is a new body of work based on the gouache sketches I did in the winter when I visited Kerala. The light in Kerala is very different which gives much stronger colours than the English landscape, so they are both fun and challenging to work on. I hope to have them ready to show at my Summer Exhibition in August.

I have nearly finished a new large snowscape painting. This painting that has been going on for some time is a view of South Stoke with a thin dusting of snow and the moon rising.

A new Arun Valley painting that is nearly finished. I was interested by the muted colours of the winter landscape and the line of the road going up the hill towards South Stoke.
