May in Provence
I travelled to Provence last month to join a group for an intensive 8 days plein air painting. We were very lucky with the weather - it rained the day we arrived and the day we left, and at times it was a little too windy and my easel got blown over, but otherwise it was perfect. It was a very productive time enjoying the amazing Provençal light and colours, scents and atmosphere.

I worked on unstretched canvas, and managed to produce a good number of paintings. Some need more work and then mounting on board and framing. When they are ready subscribers will get a preview before I post them to my website.
This area of Provence is one of my favourite places to paint and I have visited many times over the years. There are paintings from previous visits that I would like to now share with you; they bring back some wonderful memories. These are available for sale, so please get in touch if you see anything that you like.
