I am participating in the #artistsupportpledge which is an initiative started by Sussex artist Matthew Burrows. 

What is #artistsupportpledge?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many artists around the world have found themselves without work, as teaching, gallery exhibitions and sales have disappeared. In an attempt to alleviate some of this stress Matthew Burrows has instigated the #artistsupportpledge on Instagram. 

The concept is a simple one.  An artist posts images of their work to sell for no more than £200 each. Anyone can buy the work. Every time an artist reaches £1000 of sales they pledge to buy another artist's work for £200.

It is a lovely idea that is a win-win for everyone since it is an opportunity to buy paintings at highly discounted prices, and it supports artists through this difficult time.

I am also donating 10% of my #artistsupportpledge profits to the Trussel Trust for food banks.

How can I buy a painting?

Follow me on Instagram, and browse through the paintings posted on my page. Each is tagged #artistsupportpledge together with the discounted price, and you can contact me directly to express your interest. Sometimes paintings go within a very short time of posting, so do keep an eye out for my latest posts.

Visit my special #artistsupportpledge page on my website which lists all the paintings I am offering as part of this initiative. This page offers a special preview as some of the paintings listed have not yet been posted to Instagram, so you get the opportunity to be the first to purchase. I will be adding more paintings as the days go by, so do keep coming by to browse the latest selection.
